Whipped Blood Orange Feta Dip

This Whipped Blood Orange Feta Dip is a seriously easy appetizer for gatherings and snacking. In just 10 minutes, crumbly feta cheese, blood oranges and ricotta transforms into a creamy dip. It's stunning presented with sweet clover honey, mint and pistachios.

Equipment

  • Mini Food Processor

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons pistachios salted and roasted
  • 6 ounces feta cheese
  • ¼ cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 blood oranges
  • ¼ cup clover honey
  • 3 tablespoons mint chiffonade

Instructions

  • Crush/Chop pistachios in a mini food processor OR carefully roughly chop with a cutting board and knife. Set aside.
  • Blend crumbled feta, ricotta cheese, blood orange juice (no pulp), and zest in a mini food processor until smooth.
  • Carefully remove the blade from the food processor and pour the dip into a serving bowl.
  • Drizzle generously with honey.
  • Top with chiffonaded mint and pistachios.
  • Serve with sliced toasted garlic naan (or bread/vegetable of your choice)!

Notes

How to store: I recommend eating and finishing in one sitting. You can wrap in plastic wrap and save for 1 day but it will thicken in the fridge and not have the same texture.
