Ingredients

  • 1 pound dried Turkish apricots
  • 150 grams chocolate melting wafers ~ 1 cup

Instructions

  • Heat Ghirardelli Chocolate Melting Wafers according to package. I am using the double boil method. Melt chocolate until smooth and completely melted.
  • Carefully transfer hot melted chocolate to a small bowl. Line a baking sheet/sheet pan with a piece of parchment paper or silicone mat. Dip apricots one at a time into chocolate about ½ way. Lift and let access chocolate fall off or carefully tap access chocolate off. Place on the sheet pan and repeat with remaining apricots.
  • Allow apricots to sit until chocolate is completely set. Peel apricots from parchment paper and enjoy!

Notes

Make sure all your equipment is absolutely dry and free from any water droplets, otherwise your chocolate will seize and be grainy.
